Multifamily NW needed a custom survey tool that integrated directly with their Association Management System (Novi AMS) to efficiently organize the collection and management of member information received from surveys. Having robust functionality to parse the collected data was important to streamline reports provided to members.
MultiFamily NW needs:
- Custom built Member Survey Portal that integrated into their Association Management System (Novi AMS).
- Streamlined process for members of property management companies to complete surveys for multiple properties they manage.
- Single Sign-On from Novi AMS to the Survey Portal.
- Synchronized property and member information between Novi AMS and Survey Portal.
- Admin section of Survey Portal to easily build surveys, view completed surveys, filter information, and export various reports.

- Developed a web application hosted in Azure using .NET, C#, Blazor, and a SQL Database.
- Custom logic and Single Sign-On to detect membership status and only show properties that are part of their management company.
- Pre-fill relevant information from previous surveys to enhance the user experience and allow members to complete surveys quickly.
- Allow admins to easily create a standard survey with pre-built questions and add custom questions if needed.
- Enhanced views of survey data and participating members with search and filtering capability.
- Ability to export survey data in a pre-built standard report or create custom exports based on filtered views.
Results:
Multifamily NW was able to vastly improve upon the user experience of taking surveys on an older platform which was not integrated with their AMS. Integration with Novi AMS was critical to having a single system of record for member data. Easy management and export of survey data allows Multifamily NW to support the creation of critical reports they provide to their members.
