For the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), a member association supporting affordable housing in Texas, providing donation reports using a third-party software was a manual process. Members had no self-service way to access their donation history, so every request landed on staff. TAAHP was looking for a way to save time and boost member benefits by offering them the ability to self-download a report any time they needed it.
Digital Mettle replaced it with a purpose-built custom reporting application embedded directly inside Novi AMS.

The reporting application lives inside TAAHP’s existing member portal, accessible right from the Account History page of Member Compass. Members open a popup window, select a year, and instantly download a professionally formatted PDF of their donation history. Single Sign-On offers no redirect needed and no separate credentials.
Behind the scenes, the application pulls member information securely from Novi via single sign-on and fetches live payment data directly from QuickBooks, combining both into one clean, customized, on-demand report in seconds.
For members, the experience is simple and immediate:
- Embedded in Member Compass: The tool surfaces inside the existing Novi portal with no separate login required.
- Live QuickBooks data: Every report reflects accurate, up-to-date financial records pulled in real time.
- Year-based filtering: Members select any past or current year from a dropdown to generate the report they need.
- Personal and company views: Members can pull reports for their individual donations or for all donations made across their entire company.
- Instant PDF download: Each report is auto-generated using TAAHP’s custom template, ready to share the moment it’s requested.

TAAHP went from a time-consuming, staff-driven process to a fully self-service solution that members can use anytime without ever contacting the office. Staff no longer spend time producing and distributing individual reports. Members get accurate, branded donation records on demand.
