The National Apartment Association (NAA) asked Digital Mettle to develop a custom solution that would easily allow NAA’s Member Affiliates to share their data with NAA’s Salesforce/Nimble CRM and allow administrators to process and validate the incoming data. This project had very specific requirements for processing incoming data, necessitating the implementation of custom logic and matching criteria to sync properly with affiliate AMS systems and NAA’s Salesforce CRM.
National Apartment Association (NAA) needs:
- Provide a continuous import and synchronization of affiliate member records.
- Enable the NAA Data Team to provide manual oversight to import member data into their Salesforce CRM as efficiently as possible.
- Create a self-service Affiliate Portal to allow affiliates the ability to view real-time member information.
- Allow an easy way for affiliates to connect their portal to Novi or other AMS systems. Also provide the ability to upload updates via excel files.
Digital Mettle’s solution:
- Develop a single sign-on online portal to allow NAA administrators to view or edit all the incoming member records.
- Based on several specific criteria (and/or matching logic), the records follow various pathways and are automatically or manually approved to write to the NAA Salesforce CRM.
- Complex logic and integration with Salesforce displays live information and membership status for both NAA and a proprietary lease program.
- Affiliate Portal uses a step-by-step API connection process to create an easy connection and continuous updates from Novi or other AMS Systems, along with the ability to manually upload information if needed.
Results:
- Hundreds of Affiliates onboarded.
- Thousands of member records processed each day.
- Allow local members instant access to national services.
